Day with a Personal Trainer

At last, after many years of dreaming and lessons learned I had decided to have a personal trainer (As I had started earning these days :D) . Let be describe what does 'repetition' and 'set' stand for.

Eg:If you do 12 push ups then it stands for 12 Repetitions and then this cycle of 12 Repetition is known as Set. On the whole it can be stated like this " A Set of 12 Repetitions". Is it cool ? ;)

When ever I used to meet different guys with great body, I used to have a chat with them regarding 'How to Build Great Muscles'. I got different inputs from different persons and I would like to share some of them here ( Which I remember ;)) They are as follows:
  • Don't Smoke ( At least during training days)
  • Don't drink Beer or Alcohol ( This is unhealthy and dont think beer gives you extra calories but it also gifts you with a 'Belly' which makes you difficult to get rid of .
  • Don't eat Junk foods ( i.e., fast foods , oily foods , food with more fat and hard to digest)
  • Eat small amount of food at least 5 times a day. ( It helps to keep away the huge belly without compromising on Calories)
  • Body Building means of 25% of Training and 75% of Food (Proteins, Calcium,...blah blah)
  • Dedication , Commitment and Concentration plays a key role for good build.
  • Have sufficient amount of Rest ( Its the time when body recovers)
  • Supplements doesn't do any miracles and don't rely on them. They cost you more than what can they give you.
  • Have good amount of Naturally available food like Bananas, Almonds, Milk, Meat, Soya, etc., and finally most important one is Water.
These are some of the important points to mention. And what I learned from personal trainer on my first day is like this.
  • Have good diet along with water
  • Know the right posture of body, wrists , arms etc., for and during workout and stick to it. ( (Don't take decision on posture with out doing ground work)
  • Push your self while working out.
  • If your are losing the right posture of that workout while pushing, then its the time to end that set. Best practice is to have a good number of repetitions and increase them on weekly basis.
  • Wear the 'Gym Belt' during Shoulders and Legs workout.
  • Wear the 'Crepe Bandage' kind of thing on wrist for better support.
  • How much calories should I take , For Lean People : 18 * (weight in pounds) , For medium build people : 14 * (weight in pounds) and for Heavy People : 10* (weight in pounds).
  • 1 gram protein: 4 Calories, 1 gram carbohydrate: 4 Calories, 1 gram fat : 9 Calories
  • Eating ratio must be like 40% Protein, 40% Carbohydrates, 20% Fat.
These are some important points to share. And more can be expected soon.

Flash Back Exp

I had a dream of having a good looking muscular body. I had been thinking of it from many years. I had taken an initiative some years back when I was a student and got only half knowledge about body building. I had been successful in having a lean shape and later it got dissolved due to lack of training.
Lesson 1: "Continue training to remain in shape. Training needs Dedication, Commitment and Concentration"

Later after 2 years I had started training again. By this time I came to know one secret. That is : Good Food helps to grow your body with very good pace. Food like Eggs, Bananas, Soya...blah blah... I had began training and concentrated on 'Good Diet' this time. Every thing was fine and began to build good shape till the date I realized that I got a very tiny stone in my kidney. And the reason is none other than 'Drinking Less Water'. And finally I lost my previous good shape also.
Lesson 2: " Along with Good Diet , drinking lots of water is healthy and necessary"

Later an year back, I had started training again. This time I had concentrated on 'Food , Water and Rest'. Everything was set in track and I had started to gain body. I was proud of my Planned Schedule. And at the time of Ramdan , I have to fast and for that reason I had stopped training. And due to insufficient nutrients I got pain in my back and this is because of lack of calcium. And due to back pain I have to quit training for 3 more months
Lesson 3: " Consumption of more proteins require more calcium "

By looking at all these factors I realized that , for proper body building you need
"Good Diet, Lots of Water , More Proteins and Calcium and Lots of training ."
